to fill the currently vacant position of Fire Chief. The

The successful candidate must possess strong management and
leadership skills, excellent communication and organizational
skills, established fiscal management capabilities, thorough
knowledge of and proven experience with fire, EMS and emergency
management services and a demonstrated track record and
competencies relating to emotional intelligence (i.e.
style that is inclusive without relinquishing leadership
ability to work
with employees, the Board,
citizens, and all other stakeholders;
expertise in team building; and ability to develop and motivate
